Tinsley "Tag" Galyan has the honor of being the first Ph.D. to graduate from Interactive Cinema. He transferred into the group after spending time down in the lab's "Snake Pit" as a member of the Graphics and Animation group, where he worked on that infamous lab animation "Grinning Evil Death." His intrests in VR lead him to his dissertation project, Dogmatic, an exploration of methods for creating narrative coherance in a 3-D immersive environment
